Mike has been developing his own CPA network over the past several months and it’s really going to be a hit with internet marketers.   If you’re unfamiliar with “CPA”..it stands for “Cost Per Action”.  It’s an affiliate network that pays you commissions for sending “leads”, “sales” or other information such as simply entering a zip code.

Companies pay you a commission every time you send traffic and a certain “action” takes place.  That “action” could be someone filling out an email opt-in form or even entering their zip code.  Many times, you get paid even if the visitor doesn’t buy anything.  That’s why they call it “Cost Per Action”….you are getting a commission for getting a visitor to take some sort of action…not necessarily a sale.

His “twist” is that with his network, you’ll be able to instantly create the landing pages with custom links and messages on the fly in about 60 seconds.

This is going to be a big deal in affiliate marketing so I suggest that you go and find out what all the fuss is about.

Here’s a nice audio solution for your Wordpress blog.

When you click this link:  Introduction Voiceover you’ll find that an audio player will show up so you can listen to the mp3 without leaving the blog site itself.

Notice that the audio player doesn’t show up until you click the link.  Click the link again and the player disappears.

This is just a sample voiceover I had done by Nick Hatcher for my “The How To Project” Blog.  It’s an introduction that I’ll be using at the beginning of all my interviews with internet marketing experts.

To make this happen, all you need to do is install the uAudio Player plugin on your Wordpress blog.  It’s extremely lightweight (450 Bytes) and won’t slow down the page load time.  It’s just a standard link so nothing loads until your visitor clicks the link.  That’s good news for many bloggers because less load time means less frustration with your visitors when they are visiting your blog.

Ok, this is very very cool.

I’m about to show you something that hopefully comes across as a BLATANT promotion because…well, because it is.

I’m promoting a fresh new tool that a friend of mine is just releasing TODAY.  He’s kept it under wraps for a while and I JUST signed up for this service a couple hours ago.

I’m telling you this so you understand how EZ what I’m about to show you is to do.

I literally JUST learned how to make those creations.  Even though I know Bill (the creator), I didn’t have any inside secrets.  No special instructions.  No hand holding or walk-throughs…

Now, the banner ads may be pretty neat to look at but it’s even more powerful than simply making visually appealing banner ads…

These ads have tracking stats, all tied in with Google Maps so you can see where your banner clicks are coming from.  In fact, I’m still navigating through my membership and there is much much more.  It’s absolutely incredible.

Here is an AWESOME Wordpress plugin.

It allows you automatically show a different greeting message to your new visitors depending on where they were referred from.

Sending traffic from Twitter?  Great, it shows a message asking them to twit the post and follow you.
Getting traffic from Digg?  Cool…this plug in know where they are coming from so it asks your visitor to digg your post if they find it interesting or useful.

If the plugin doesn’t recognize where your visitor is coming from it asks them to join your RSS feed.

Having these types of targeted suggestions increase your blog exposure and loyal readership.  I highly recommend that you implement this free plugin on your blog today!!

How do you feel about price increases?

What emotion do you feel?

Does it make you anxious, uneasy, stressed?  If you answer yes….
Good.

It’s supposed to elicit that reaction…

These emotions help trigger “buying” decisions.  It boils down to
a fear of loss and the fear of loss is the primary emotion involved
when you finally decide to click the “buy button”.

Sometimes it’s not emotional at all.  Price increases work with
“logical” buyers as well.

A logical buyer may not get the uneasy feelings associated with
fear of loss but they certainly are presented with a decision to
make.  Purchase now or pay more later.

If it’s a product they have been eyeballing…it forces them to make
a decision.  If they choose NOT to buy, they are still thinking
about the product and that’s all you can ask (as the seller).

See people don’t make decisions until they NEED to make a decision.

That’s true for you, for me, for everybody.

If you’re selling something, a price increase is probably the single
most effective way to increase sales.  Lot’s of people get this
wrong.  They decide to LOWER their price in order to encourage sales.

That’s why it’s called a “sale”

But you know what??????

If you run “sales”, what are you training your prospects and
customers to do?

Come on…this is easy….

What’s the psychology?  What do you do when you go to the grocery
store?  Even if you’re not a coupon clipper, what is it that you’re
looking for in the aisles?????

You’re looking for the sale.  What’s on sale?  Buy one chicken breast,
get another free.  You think to yourself, “Better pick that one up”
right?  You walk right past the steak and pick up that chicken
breast.  Why?  Because it’s “on sale” and it’s something that you
are probably going to buy eventually anyway.  Right?

Stick with me on this one….

So there you are, looking for the deals.  Why wouldn’t you?  It’s
what you’ve been conditioned to do when you go grocery shopping.
The store has trained you to shop this way.

Think about this a moment.

If YOU offer a “sale” or a discount for your product…

What are you training YOUR prospects and customers to do?

You are training them to “wait” for the sale.  Rather than getting
YOUR product at “normal” price, they will wait (unless they have an
URGENT need for your product right now)

Let’s go back to the grocery store example again….

Having a sale on chicken breast or any other item at a grocery store
is a great move…but only if you’re a grocery store.

Chances are, you have a core product or service that you’re trying
to sell.  You don’t have aisles for people to shop from.  Either
your web visitor is going to buy or they are NOT going to buy.  It’s
not like they are going to pass up the “steak” but still buy that
chicken from you.

See what I’m getting at?

You think you are generating more sales by doing this but…are you
really?  Or have you trained your customers to wait and buy at a
lower price.

What if you NEVER had a sale?

What if all you had was price increases?

What are you training your customers to do now?

By only offering price increases, you can get that fear of loss
emotion going with your prospects.  Fear of loss forces a decision.
It forces them to at least “think” about doing business with you
and gives them a very limited time to make that decision.

If you’re running sales and discounts from time to time you eliminate
the fear of loss.  Sure, your sale is for a limited time….but…
hey, who cares?  You’re going to have another sale sometime soon.

How do I know???

Well, because I’m on your list, I see what you do.  I have no
sense of urgency.

Something to seriously consider.
